Summary
Group Staff are users of the Back Office. Each staff member will access their merchant BO via their own accounts. Group Staff:
- Group Admin
- Group staff in different sections: marketing, sales, etc.
As a Group Admin, you are granted higher authority in staff management of your own group.
Workflow
Each staff member will be working under 1 group and 1/multiple brands. They must be assigned a role before they can operate in the BO. Their authority is restricted to certain sections, subject to the role that you have assigned to them. For example, a Finance staff member is only allowed to work under sections directly relating to finance such as Reports.
While there are roles predefined by System Admin, you can also create a new role (custom role) to serve your own group. All of these roles can be viewed in Authentication > Role.
Once a role is defined, permission to perform certain actions set in accordance with that role will be displayed in Authentication > Permission. As for custom roles, you can manually set permissions for them in Authentication > Permission.
Now when roles and permissions are set, you are able to create user accounts with specific roles to work for your group via Authentication > User.
Assigning Role
The roles you assign to users shall not surpass your own.
