Roles
Role: a role indicates an user’s position in your group. For example: Group Admin, Marketing Manager, etc.
Before being assigned to staff, roles must be defined beforehand. While System staff can create both of these above role types, as a Group Admin, you can only create custom roles to be used in your own group. However, you can view all of the roles valid in your group in Authentication > Role.
CATEGORIZING ROLES
The role assigned to a staff member enables them to access specific functions in Naga Games Back Office.
Roles can be categorized:
- Based on validity:
- ALL_GROUP: valid in all groups. This role can be assigned to users of any group.
- CUSTOMROLE: valid in only 1 group. This role can be assigned to users of 1 particular group.
**- Based on authority:_** - SYSTEM: This role is created to manage all groups in the system. System role is of role level 11-20.
- GROUP: This role can only manage 1 particular group. Group roles can be of role level 1-10.
Role Level is introduced to rank users. Users of higher role level will have control over users of lower role level.
Custom Roles level 10 VS Custom Role level 1-9:
- Custom Role level 10: this is equal to a default Group Admin with additional permission in Bet Setting resource. While default Group Admin is not granted the permission to update Bet Setting for his own group, Custom Role level 10 has that permission.
- Custom Role level 1-9: this role’s permission cannot override that of Default Group Admin.
