DEFINITION

  • User: Your group’s staff accessing Back Office to manage your gaming business are users of the Back Office. Each staff member will access their merchant BO via their own user accounts.

The User section allows you to create and manage any user account of your group. In the Authentication > User window, you can see:

  • The summary table where you can view a full list of users. Clicking on each user ID will show you their details.

  • The action bar where you can see the Create button. Clicking on this button will show you the user Create window.

  • The Action column where you can:
    • Reset user’s password
    • Change user’s password
    • Delete user account

To add a new staff member to the database

  1. In Authentication > User, click on Create.
  2. Enter values to these required fields:
  • Username: new account’s username
  • Email: new staff member’s email address
    - Password: new staff member account’s password
  • Role: select a role for the new staff from the list of roles that are valid in your group.
    These roles have been defined in Authentication > Role.
  1. Other optional fields are:
  • First name: new staff member’s first name
  • Last name: new staff member’s last name
  • Phone number: new staff member’s current phone number
  1. Select Brands to allow this user to access certain brands under your group.
    If none is selected, this user will have access to every brand under your management.
  2. Enable the account.
  3. Click on Save.

As you successfully created a new user account, credentials will be sent to the user’s provided email address. Upon the first time the user logs into their account, they will be required to change their password.

To modify a user’s information

  1. In Authentication > User, click on the ID of the user you want to modify. You can now view the complete information of the user.
  2. Click on Edit.
  3. Make the modifications you need to the user’s information.
    A user's role can be switched to another one of the same type. For example, a user with Custom Role can only be switched to another Custom Role under your group.
  4. Click on Save.

To reset a user’s password

  1. In the Action column of the user you want to reset password, select the button Reset Password .A message box showing the user’s email address will be displayed.
  2. Click on Confirm.

An email will immediately be sent to the user’s email address. The user shall click on the provided link to reset his password.

To change a user’s password

  1. In the Action column of the user you want to change password, select the button Change Password
  2. A box will appear. Enter values into these two fields:
  • New Password: the user’s new password
  • Confirm Password: re-enter the new password
  1. Click on Save.

To delete a user account
1.In the Action column of the user account you want to delete, select the button Delete .
2. A confirmation message will appear. Click on Confirm to delete the user account.
